Even the building itself has historical significance, the architecture is of 165 years old (1855 built church) some of the attraction include a tall Arch over the entrance, spacious Auditorium with transparent painted glass windows.
In this Museum art objects belonging to the Gangas, Kongalvas-Changalvas, the Hoysalas , the Vijayanagara Empire, the Nayakas of Belur, the local chief and the British period. The belongings of the General field Marshal Kariyappa the post independent war hero are also preserved in this Museum. The exhibits includes the Hindu and Jain stone and Bronze images, varieties of swords, Odikattis belonging to Virarajendra period, Folklore objects, Guns and Hero stones of various period.

7 Kms from Madikeri Town. A cascading waterfall set amidst lush greenery. A short trek through a verdant pathway leads to the viewpoint, where the sight and sound of the gushing water provide a refreshing experience.

The main deity is a Shivalinga brought from Kashi. A small pond that houses the Common Carp ( Catla) can be seen as we enter into the premise. This modest temple has a history dating back to 1820 AD.

Situated on the banks of the Kaveri River, access to the site requires either a boat ride during the monsoon season or a walk across the river during drier months. The elephant camp is a highlight, home to numerous elephants, and provides visitors with a unique opportunity to get up close and share memorable moments with these majestic animals.

28 Kms from Virajpet. 35 Kms from Madikeri Town. Advisable only for devotees. The temple is dedicated to Lord Igguthappa which is another name for Lord Subramanya. Located in the Kakkabe town, the Padi Igguthappa Temple was built by Lingarajendra in the year of 1810.

22 Kms from Virajpet . 37 Kms from Madikeri Town. This hidden waterfall is tucked away in a secluded forest area, making it ideal for young and able-bodied individuals. The short trek to reach the falls involves navigating a somewhat challenging path, and while the waterfall itself is a sight to behold, direct access to it is not possible.
27 kms from Virajpet. 36 Kms from Madikeri Town. A two storeyed palace placed at the dense jungle at the foot of Tadiandamol, the highest peak of Kodagu. Ornamentals pillars and verandahs with carved windows and door frames are its notable features.
