Sri Aurobindo Ashram

Auroville

13 kms from Airport. 16 kms from Railway station. An experimental township dedicated to human unity and peace, featuring unique architecture and a global community. Auroville is known for its sustainable living practices, innovative architecture, and a focus on collective progress and consciousness. The Matrimandir, a golden spherical structure at the center of Auroville, is a place for quiet reflection and meditation, symbolizing the spiritual aspirations of the community.

Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Offers boat rides and a picturesque view of the backwaters and the nearby Paradise Beach. Many water activities and other beach activities are the main attraction there. From here, you can take a leisurely boat ride to Paradise Beach, a pristine and less crowded beach accessible only by boat. Extra charges applicable for activities.

Pondicherry Museum
