Itinerary

  • You will be picking from Cochin Airport / Ernakulam railway station and drive to Guruvayur (02½ Hrs drive); on arrival check-in into hotel.
  • Afternoon proceeds for local sightseeing in and around Guruvayoor - a thriving township in Trichur district, Guruvayoor is known for its scenic beauty and serenity.
  • The place is noted for the Guruvayurappan Temple, Anakotta - Guruvayur Devaswom elephant sanctuary -one of the largest elephant sanitarium in all over the world. Also known as Punnathurkotta, Anakotta is 3 km far from Guruvayur Temple.
  • Evening Darshan at Guruvayoor Temple.
  • Overnight stay in Guruvayoor.

  • After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Munnar (06 Hrs).
  • On the way enjoy some waterfalls and natural scenic spots.
  • On arrival at Munnar check into Hotel.
  • The Tea Museum displays the history and evolution of the tea plantations in Munnar. Entry fee Rs.125/- per adult, the museum is open to tourists till 5pm.
  • If you are a flora lover, pay a visit to the Floriculture Centre Munnar. Commonly known as Rose Garden, it has over hundred varieties of flowers and herbal plants. Open from 10 am to 5 pm and charges Rs.30 per person.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel will be arranged.

  • After breakfast spend the day with local sightseeing.
  • Visit The Eravikulam National Park in Munnar is one of the five national parks in Kerala, with rich flora and fauna, which is home to the famous Nilgiri Thar. The park closes at 4 pm. Entry fee (Indian adult = Rs.120/-, Indian Child between 5 to 12 yrs age = Rs.90/-, Foreigner= Rs.450/-)
  • The Mattupetty Dam / Lake is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Munnar, surrounded by lush green forest. Entry fee Rs.40/- per person. Open from 9:30 am till 5 pm. You may also engage in boating and horse rides [depend on availability] (ranges from Rs.50 to Rs.700).
  • The Kundala Lake / Dam is one of the most picturesque locations in Munnar. It requires no entry fees, but boating activities costs from Rs.100/- to Rs.200/-. Visitors are allowed till 5pm.
  • Visit the Photo Point and Echo Point with no entry charges.
  • Overnight stay is arranged at Munnar.

  • After a refreshing breakfast, drive to Alleppey (5 hours drive) and check in to Houseboat.
  • Set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats.
  • While cruising in these floating luxury-villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed-down paddy fields, local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, ancient temples and swaying coconut groves.
  • Food will be served onboard.
  • Overnight stay in the houseboat.

  • After breakfast check out from the Hotel and drive to Trivandrum
  • Visit The Padmanabha Swamy Temple is a pilgrim destination in Trivandrum open only to Hindu pilgrims and is one the oldest temples in India, worshipping Lord Vishnu. The temple is famous for its mythological and religious significance. It receives pilgrims from 3:30am to 4:5am, 6:30am to 7am, 8:30am to 10am, 10:30am to 11am, 5pm to 6:15pm, 6:45pm to 7:20pm and follows strict code of conduct.
  • Then drive to Airport / railway station (depend on your departure place) for your flight / train back home, feeling contented about a wonderful holiday you spent in the God's Own Country.
