  • Embark on an exciting sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram.
    (The town, famous for its stone carvings, is situated on the shore of Bay of Bengal, 58 km south of Chennai. Once a thriving port city under the Pallava Empire this UNESCO world heritage site has many rock-cut monuments dating from 7th &9th century AD.)

    (Tanjore, was once the imperial capital of the Cholas, a dynasty that ruled over South India, parts of Sri Lanka, and the Maldives Islands for four centuries (900 1300 AD). These mighty emperors were great patrons of art, architecture, music and literature. During their reign countless magnificent temples were built all over the kingdom including many great ones in their capital city of Tanjore. The prime attraction of Tanjore is the imposing Brihadeeswara Temple built by king Rajaraja Chola in A.D 1010 now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.)
     
  • Places of tourist interest: Sri Brahadeeswara Temple, Palace, Art Gallery, Saraswathy Mahal Library, Schwartz Church, Thirukandiyur, Thiruvalyaru, and Kumbakonam.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Rameswaram, on arrival check in to the hotel.
  • On the way visit Pamban bridge; it was India's first sea bridge, and was the longest sea bridge in India until the opening of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in 2010.
  • Visit Agni Theertham, Ramanathaswamy Temple Housing the worlds most sacred sand mound (a lingam said to have been created by Rama's wife Sita, so that she could worship Shiva), this temple is one of India's holiest shrines.
  • If time permits visit Dhanushkodi; Dhanushkodi is a ghost town at the south-eastern tip of Pamban Island.
  • Overnight stay is at Rameswaram.

  • Proceed for local sightseeing tour in the afternoon.
    (Kanyakumari is located at the southern tip of the Indian subcontinent and represents the site where the spiritual leader Swami Vivekananda spent days in meditation upon a rock off of the coast.)
     
  • Visit The Padmanabhapuram Palace
    (situated in Kanyakumari is a 16 century old palace which used to be the residence of the Kings of Travancore, named after the lotus that comes out of the navel of Lord Vishnu, (Padma means lotus, nabha-navel, puram- town). Open from 9am to 1pm and again from 2pm to 4:30pm. Entry fee is Rs.10/- per adult and Rs.2/- per child. )
     
  • The Vivekananda Rock Memorial
    (It was built in the memory of the great saint, Swamy Vivekananda, not only holy and spiritual, but also exhibits architectural excellence. Ferry ride to the rock will cost Rs.20/- per person and entry fees are Rs.10/- per person. Open from 8am to 4pm.)
     
  • The Devi Kanyakumari Temple
    (It is also known as Kumari Amman Temple is one of the most sacred temples in the world and ages more than 3000 years. Open from 4:30am to 12:30pm and from 4pm to 8pm and requires no entry fee. )
     
  • The Suchindram Temple
    (It is a 17th century temple which idolizes the Trinity of God; Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma. Open from 4:30am to 11am and from 5pm to 8:30pm. No entry fees.)
     
  • The Triveni Sangamam in Kanyakumari
    (It is a sacred confluence of three water bodies: the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal, and the Indian Ocean. It is located in Kanyakumari, a town in the southernmost part of mainland India, where the three bodies of water meet. This meeting point is considered highly auspicious and holds great religious significance for Hindus. Open from 6am to 9pm without any entry fee. )
     
  • The Sunset / Sunrise View Point in Kanyakumari is a must visit if your visit time permit to view Sunset or Sunrise.
  • Entrance fee / activity charges not included unless otherwise mentioned with inclusions.

It was the imperial capital of the Pandyan Empire in the 14th Century AD. Madurai was the seat of Tamil learning and the last of the Tamil Sangams (Academies) was held here nearly 2000 years ago.)

    (Kodaikanal lies on the southern crust of the Palani Hills. The town is centered-around the star shaped Kodai Lake covering an area of sixty acres. Kodaikanal has thickly wooded slopes, well laid out stroll paths through picturesque landscapes, gorgeous waterfalls and steep rocky drops.)
     
  • Places of tourist interest include the Lake, Solar Physical Observatory, Bryant Park, Coaker's Walk, Kurunji Andavar Temple, Green Valley View, Pillar Rocks and Shembaganur Natural History Museum.

The landscape here is dotted with vast expanses of tea gardens, dense forests, sprawling grasslands and lofty mountains.)

    (Bandipur is home to a number of animal species such as tigers, Indian elephants, spotted deer, bison, antelopes, and numerous other native species.)
     
  • Jeep Safari is the best way to get maximum exposure to wildlife of the Bandipur Tiger Reserve.
    (The forest department conducts the jeep safari along with bus safari in Bandipur starting from the reception center. The duration of the jeep safari is about 90 minutes and there are two slots for safari in the monring and evening. First safari and last safari offer better chances of sighting animals.)

    (Kodagu or Coorg, known as the 'Scotland of India', is the most picturesque hill station of Karnataka. Located on the Western Ghats at an altitude of 4000 ft, Kodagu has dense forests, coffee and tea plantations, orange orchards and lush paddy fields dotting its terrain. The majority of the population here belongs to the Kodava community; an ancient martial race with distinct culture and traditions. The people of Kodagu are considered the most beautiful of the people in India.)

The present day Bangalore City was founded by Kempe Gowda, a chieftain under the Vijayanagara Empire, in 1537 A.D.
