  • Visit GD Naidu Museum

  • A trip to Coimbatore is incomplete without shopping for some world-famous cotton, silk, and other textile varieties manufactured here!
  • If time permits visit Isha Yoga Center, which is situated in the foothills of the Velliangiri Mountains.
  • Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

  • After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Erode, on arrival check into Hotel.

    (Erode District was a part of Coimbatore has its history intervened with that of Coimbatore and because of its close linkage with the erstwhile Coimbatore district. It is very difficult to separately deal with the history of Erode region. Together with the area comprised in the Coimbatore district, it formed part of the ancient Kongu region. It is found that in the early days, this area was occupied by tribes, most prominent among them being the “Kosars” reportedly having their headquarters at ‘Kosamputhur’ which is believed to have in due course become Coimbatore.)

    (Salem is a Geologist’s paradise,surrounded by hills and the landscape dotted with hillocks. Salem has a vibrant culture dating back to the ancient Kongu Nadu. As a district, Salem has its significance in various aspects. The Salem Steel Plant was an ambitious project started with a view to utilise the locally available iron-ore from Kanchamalai to produce steel. This public sector company engaged in rolling out cast steel blacks into sheets of required dimensions by cold and hot extrusion methods. Mango fruits from Salem are enjoyed and much sought after, specially the variety Malgoa-which is the pride of Salem.)
     
  • Places of interest Kottai Mariamman Temple, Kurumbapatti Zoological Park, Government Museum 1008 Lingum Temple.

    (Yercaud is a hill station town in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It lies in the Shevaroy Hills, known for their orange groves, and coffee, fruit and spice plantations. Yercaud Lake has a boathouse, and is surrounded by gardens and woods.)
     
  • Visit Botanical garden, Kiliyur falls, Lady's Seat, Pagoda point, Tipperary View Point, Shevaroy temple, Local town, Anna Park, Arthur's seat, Silk farm, Rose Garden, Bears cave and Bears Hill. Later visit the Emerald Lake (Big Lake) for boating.
  • Evening back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

    (Dindigul district was carved out of the composite Madurai District on 15.9.1985. Dindigul, which was under the rule of the famous Muslim Monarch, Tippusultan, has a glorious past.)

  • This district is having a flourishing handloom industry at Chinnalapatti, which is located at 11 Kms away from Dindigul on the Madurai-Dindigul road.
